It started with my daughters’ hair. Breakage. Loss. Damage no commercial product understood.

So I researched. Then formulated — testing in my own kitchen until I understood hair as a system, not a surface.

Those formulas worked. And they became the foundation of AEVUM™.

Then my own hair began to change. In my forties, I found products built for younger hair, other textures — treating symptoms, never causes.

I saw it everywhere: women thinning at the crown, hormonal irritation dismissed with “another gentle shampoo,” textured hair coated but never truly reached. Many are impacted .

Overlooked — because they were over 40, or didn’t fit a marketing archetype. Men , too overlooked simply because they were never the target.

I decided to build what didn’t exist. Not a product.A system.

My career — military service, then GE and Nike — taught me discipline at scale. My Six Sigma Black Belt is why every formula is documented, every supplier verified, every batch reconciled. It was reinforced at my farm in Kenya, rigor starts with what nature already got right — chébé, moringa, ingredients proven for generations — refined, not reinvented.

I am the customer I built this for.
